Design of continuous gas-lift for a dead well and step-up of its productivity

The present paper aims to design a continuous gas-lift system in order activate the dead well X and optimise recovery of hydrocarbons by gas injection. data taken into account are those reservoir well. All simulation operations diagram carried out with PIPESIM 2017 2.0 software. Moreover, nodal analysis is finding injection pressure number valves be installed, optimal heights flow rates received each valve also included device. Then evaluation performance as sensitivity make it possible fix rate production. results obtained show that for 3 million standard ft3 per day (MMscf/d) wellhead 2,500 psi an 2,718 barrels (STB/d), profitability USD 182,887,219 obtained. In this field, can applied all wells having production tube 2.5 inches inside diameter. On other hand, different diameters will require new evaluation.
